Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is a life-changing experience and doing it with Isack Kilimanjaro as your guide makes it truly unforgettable. I've had the privilege of summiting Kilimanjaro twice with Isack. First via the Machame route and later via the Marangu route. Both journeys were nothing short of extraordinary. I also had the opportunity to climb Mount Meru with Isack, to celebrate my birthday and it was just magical. Meru offers a quieter, more intimate hiking experience, and Isack's deep knowledge of the terrain and wildlife made it incredibly special. His guidance helped my friends and I appreciate the beauty and serenity of Meru, and the sunrise view over Kilimanjaro from the summit was breathtaking. It was a very special birthday for me, simply divine. Isack is not only deeply knowledgeable about the mountains, their routes, and their challenges, but he also brings unmatched warmth, professionalism, and encouragement to every step of the climb. His calm demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine care for each climber's well-being made me feel safe, supported, and inspired throughout all three climbs. And then there's his singing. Isack has a beautiful voice that lifts your spirits when the altitude gets tough. Whether it's a Swahili Mountain song or a heartfelt melody around camp, his music adds a magical touch to the journey. One of the most memorable moments for me, was hearing him sing "Zaina Zaina, Mtoto wa Kichagga" – a song that still echoes in my heart. Whether navigating the scenic beauty of Machame, the historic charm of Marangu, or the peaceful trails of Meru, Isack's leadership turned each climb into a joyful adventure. He has an incredible ability to motivate you when the going gets tough and celebrate with you when you reach the summit. If you're considering climbing Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru, I wholeheartedly recommend Isack Kilimanjaro. He's not just a quide-he's the heart and soul of the mountain.

Hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro with Isack was the highlight of my 2024. Not only because I got to achieve one of my biggest and most intimidating bucket-list items, but because his team made me fall in love with the mountain. Right from the time we arrived at the hotel in Moshi town, Isack and his team were there to warmly welcome us, help us with our bags after a long journey, and provided a briefing that more than anything, helped make my fears go away. He and his team were so warm that for the next 6 days on the mountain, I felt like we had mountain parents who quickly doubled up as friends. From the great food they provided, emotional support, laughter, great entertainment and attention to detail including physical support during summit push, Isack’s team is the right one to get you to the roof of Africa. I made my second and successful attempt at summitting Uhuru peak, with Isack’s team of course, and this time from Machame route. For someone who first attempted Mt. Kilimanjaro as a bucketlist item, it’s quite something that I’m deciding to go back, and that’s thanks to IK - Expeditions team.
