I've had the privilege of summiting Kilimanjaro twice with Isack. First via the Machame route and later via the Marangu route. Both journeys were nothing short of extraordinary. His guidance helped my friends and I appreciate the beauty and serenity of Meru, and the sunrise view over Kilimanjaro from the summit was breathtaking. It was a very special birthday for me, simply divine. His calm demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine care for each climber's well-being made me feel safe, supported, and inspired throughout all three climbs. And then there's his singing. Isack has a beautiful voice that lifts your spirits when the altitude gets tough. Whether it's a Swahili Mountain song or a heartfelt melody around camp, his music adds a magical touch to the journey. One of the most memorable moments for me, was hearing him sing "Zaina Zaina, Mtoto wa Kichagga" – a song that still echoes in my heart. Whether navigating the scenic beauty of Machame, the historic charm of Marangu, or the peaceful trails of Meru, Isack's leadership turned each climb into a joyful adventure. He has an incredible ability to motivate you when the going gets tough and celebrate with you when you reach the summit.
